The Baoji · China Titanium Valley boasts world-class capabilities in titanium and titanium alloy melting, forging, and processing. Deeply embedded in this ecosystem, Boze Metal capitalizes on the geographical advantages of nearby raw material sourcing, rapid response times, and process synergy. The new product matrix covers three major material systems: TC4 (Ti-6Al-4V), TA2 commercially pure titanium, and TC11 high-temperature titanium alloy. Product forms include hexagon head bolts, socket head cap screws, high-strength rivets, and customized non-standard shaped connectors manufactured to drawings.
By strictly controlling the quality of upstream sponge titanium sources and combining this with our in-house forging line using multi-directional isothermal die forging, Boze Metal effectively eliminates coarse grains and micro-cracks in the internal titanium structure. This ensures full-process quality traceability from bar stock to finished fastener.
2. OVERCOMING WORK HARDENING AND THREAD GALLING – ACHIEVING AVIATION-GRADE PRECISION
Titanium alloys are notoriously difficult to machine due to their low thermal conductivity and low modulus of elasticity, which often cause rapid tool wear and thread galling during turning and tapping. To address this industry-wide pain point, Boze Metal has introduced high-rigidity CNC Swiss-type lathes and precision grinding processes, coupled with an independently optimized minimum quantity lubrication (MQL) cooling system. As a result, we have consistently controlled thread surface roughness to within Ra 0.8μm.
Core Mechanical Performance:
Verified by a third-party testing agency, our new TC4 fasteners achieve a tensile strength of over 1100 MPa, with a proof stress (Rp0.2) of ≥ 1030 MPa and an elongation after fracture of ≥ 12%. At elevated temperatures of 400°C, the high-temperature creep rupture strength decay rate is 5% lower than industry benchmarks, making them an ideal match for lightweight structures in aircraft engine nacelles and fuselage skins.
3. COMPREHENSIVE CORROSION-RESISTANT SOLUTIONS FOR MARINE AND HYDROGEN ENERGY APPLICATIONS
To address the inevitable issues of crevice corrosion and galvanic corrosion in marine engineering, Boze Metal applies anodizing and micro-arc oxidation surface treatments to our products. These processes form a dense ceramic-like oxide layer on the titanium surface, which shows no signs of corrosion after 720 hours of neutral salt spray testing (NSS). In the new energy sector, particularly for hydrogen storage and transportation equipment where “hydrogen embrittlement” is a critical concern, this series undergoes a specialized vacuum dehydrogenation annealing process that strictly limits hydrogen content to below 150 ppm, providing ultimate safety assurance for high-pressure sealing systems in clean energy applications.
4. RIGOROUS QUALITY INSPECTION – EVERY FASTENER TRACEABLE TO ITS HEAT NUMBER
Boze Metal adheres strictly to both GB/T 3620 and AMS 4967 standards. Our production line is equipped with fully automatic optical inspection sorters and ultrasonic flaw detectors, enabling zero-defect screening for 360° surface defects and internal cracks. We have also implemented a product traceability system that allows customers to scan a QR code attached to each shipment, instantly accessing the corresponding batch’s melting heat number, chemical composition report, and mechanical property curves.
